The brief was to design a residence for an imagined client. The design was to incorporate all the needs of the client whilst also taking into consideration the site context.
Designed for a young professional couple, the Rapid Bay Homestead needed to accommodate space for the creative couple to work, live and host workshops for colleagues and students in the film industry. Taking inspiration from the traditional European internal courtyard, the home features three suites that branch out from a central hallway and pool area. With views over Rapid Bay, the design was oriented to maximise views from all areas of the property.
