As an introduction to Rhino and Unreal Engine, the brief was to use both programs to create a realistic model of Robin Boyd’s The Walkley House located in North Adelaide. After being granted a tour of the mid-century gem, we were provided with the original plans which were to be interpreted to create a 3D model in Rhino 7. Once complete the model was imported into Unreal Engine to apply materials in order to create a video walk through and rendered images for a brochure. Ground and first floor plan views were also taken from the Rhino model and imported into Photoshop to create atmospheric rendered plans.
